René de Monchy joined Tourism New Zealand in August 2015 as Director of Trade, PR and Major Events. René brings 15 years’ global experience in consumer-led businesses including local and international marketing roles for Fonterra and Heineken and most recently as Marketing Director at Asia Pacific Breweries in Singapore.

René manages Tourism New Zealand’s Commercial function which brings together our offshore offices and global Business Events team.
